[Charlie is a brat. And a troll so when it came time for her and Howard to name their hedgehog, she immediately went for Sonic. And she kept the backstory of his name a secret until now. After much searching, she finally found what she needed so...Howard will come home to three things waiting outside his door for him;

1) First there is this with easy instructions as to how to set it up.

2) And then there is this because there's no point in having a video game system if you have no games. It also comes with instructions.

3) And because she's not that big a pain in the ass, she's let him dinner. Home-made macaroni and cheese with breadcrumbs and ham. Not that boxed stuff.

There's a note;

Enjoy this. I figured you'd want to know why I picked Sonic for our hedgehog. This was a big thing when I was younger. And enjoy your food. -Lena.

[ Howard glances around the hallway when he reaches his apartment to find the gifts there, but he quickly scoops them up and takes them inside.

He examines the console and game, setting it up as he eats the food, which doesn't take long for someone who picks up technology easily enough, and then he's grabbing his communications device, click on Lena's name. ]

Heard about these things in passing. This why the name makes people laugh? 'Cause I was beginning to wonder.

[Charlie's grinning, trying hard not to smile too much. She really does think she's clever and is hoping Howard isn't mad at her. Sonic is on he shoulder, purring away and Charlie turns to look at the creature, getting a small animal nose against hers for her trouble.] Yeah. I probably shoulda run it past you first but...that game was a lot of fun when I was younger. There are some pretty decent memories tied to it.

[ The sonic music plays quietly in the background, the sound of rings being collected and one blue hedgehog rolling up into the air carrying over the feed, and he looks like he's enjoying it. ]

Given the advanced technology and I could'a put one of these things together, bet they make millions.

Actually, that version is highly outdated, from what I've seen around here. When Ed was still around, we bought something called a Playstation 3. It's pretty nifty. But, yes, introducing the source of our four legged kids name. You like it?
