[ He disconnects the call and heads straight out, the map something he's memorised even if he hasn't visited everywhere, and waits on a bench by the entrance. ]

[Crepe isn't pulling....until she sees Howard, that is. Then she yanks a little, meeting the immovable object that is Steve Rogers. He laughs and jogs up, and she attempts to climb up Howard's lap]

Bucky wasn't kidding. Hey, Howard.

[ The second the dog comes into sight, Howard pushes himself to perch on the end of the bench, leaning down to scoop her up while she attacks him with slobber. ]

He tell you I stopped by, huh? How's it going, Stevey boy?

[He unclips her lead - she won't run away, not with both Steve and Howard, and gives the lovers a second]

Well, it's kind of obvious when he spends most of the time when I get back scowling. I'm fine, though.

Find a job yet?

[ He's sorry, Steve, but while he makes the most of your dog, he's going to laugh at Bucky. ]

They guy loves me, really, he just ain't caught on yet.

[ Letting the dog down. ] Got my eye on that City Solutions place, thinking it could work out.

Oh, yeah?

[City Solutions. You know. The place where you and Tony hang out and try not ot talk about Howard.]</small. With Tony?

Tony works there, huh? Guy said he only dabbled.

[ Pushing himself up to his feet. ] Nah, some dame told me 'bout the place, figured I'd offer my services to the right guy.

[Damn it]

[He starts walking]

At least you've got some kind of plan.

[ Walking beside him, checking for Crepe, he gives Steve a pat on the shoulder. ]

Y'gotta be the first person here t'wish me luck, doubt I'll be needing it, though. Drivin' me 'round the twist not having somethin' to do.

He didn't make the suit, he just found my shield, though.

[ Curious. ] And who made the suit?

[God, if only he could lie.

[ The guy made out he knew nothing close to enough to make something like that. ]

[That was so forced it's ridiculous but Steve is hoping that Howard's ego dims his ridiculous genius for a minute]

[ Something's going on, Howard's suspicious face shows he's onto you, Steve, because everyone is being so weird around him whenever Tony is mentioned. ]
